Hospital

The Colborne Veterinary Clinic was built in 1972 by Dr. Ken Moore from Villa Nova.  The name Colborne comes from it's geographical location as part of what was once called Colborne Village.  Dr. Moore and a partner began the practice as a predominantly large animal clinic which over the years evolved into a solely small or companion animal clinic.  Dr. Horton bought the practice in 1981 with a full partner and both ran the practice with associate veternarians until 1988.  Since then, Dr. Horton continued to do the mixed practice with several associates until 1999 when he stopped the large animal component.

In 1995, the clinic underwent a major expansion.  There are always upgrades going on with either equipment or the physical plant, to make our clinic facility great to work in and pleasant to visit for both client and patient.

We do encourage you to request a tour of our facility whenever convenient.  We are proud of where we work.
